Cliff,
I have been looking for this years data, and can see why it took longer than last year. You have a longer list with many more pictures. I have a few observations and questions that I would like to share. You indicate that America has some Labrusca flavor, but Munson said it is Lincecummi x Rupestris. Any thoughts on that? I noticed that your Reliance has rather low Brix, while U of Ark claims it can get to around 24. I seems that overall your Brix was higher this year. I am surprised at how late your grapes ripen, with no final harvest before mid-August. My latest grape is Golden Muscat, which was ripe a full month before yours (in N. Alabama). I didn't notice any data for Norton. I expected some since it is one of your primary interests. Your observation of Herbemont is consistent with the thoughts of Munson that the Bourquiniana was possibly an Aestivalis x Vinifera with European origins.

Stephen,
America is supposed to be Munson X O.P. Apparently its open pollinator was a labrusca type. It is an interesting flavor, for sure.
My Reliance would do much better if it didn't get shredded before it gets fully ripe. Between the cracking, birds and hornets it gets in terrible shape long before it is fully red.
My Norton is coming along slowly. I'll get data up on it as soon as I get some grapes from it! The Herbemont and Lenoir are mainly to see what they look like and to have some Pierce's disease resistance available if I need it.

Thanks for your comments!
